When someone says yes! to you, or you say yes! to someone else, the opportunities are endless, goals are achieved and dreams are realized. At Western Union, we call this the yes! effect. That’s what sent us searching for stories of people who said yes! to changing lives and making things happen for someone else.

Over the past four weeks, we’ve been looking for six individuals to become Western Union® yes! Ambassadors. We invited you to tell your story and nominate yourself or someone else. We received an amazing selection of nominations and narrowed it down to 12 people across the globe who we believe best represent the yes! effect in action. Their stories of making dreams come true for individuals, families and entire communities both touched and inspired us.
