Education is the only way that the orphans in Kenya can be lifted out of poverty and have a chance in life. I have committed myself to the improving the lives of the orphaned children there. I have said "yes" to doing whatever it takes to accomplish this daunting task. I just have to do it one child at a time. I've been fortunate to have received a public education that was second to none. The orphaned children in Kenya do not have that opportunity and that is why st.angies education center was started...to give hope where there was none. The obstacles have been great but you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start again, one step at a time.
A good ambassador for western union's yes program needs to be totally committed to his mission which I am. I have committed personal finances, sacrificed self and time to this end. If chosen as ambassador to western union's yes program, I would also be as committed to the program and represent Western Union in the best possible light.
To inspire others as a yes ambassador, I would have others follow my example and say "yes" to their own dreams and aspirations of helping others with a hand up. Inspiration to others would be in others seeing the faces of the orphaned children that have something to smile about. A chance in life for themselves and their communities.
