summary description

helping refugees

achievements

I have been using Western Union to help refugees in Ghana to buy rice and water. Also, a Liberian who escaped the war when he was 16, and is now 22 was living on the streets in Ghana and working in an internet cafe for practically nothing is now in a hut, sleeping on a mattress and is able to put at least a small meal in his stomach everyday thanks to the convenience of Western Union. It's awesome to be able to touch people halfway around the world just by going to a local Western Union outfit!

biography

I am 31, married with 2 children, in a town just outside Baltimore City, Maryland. I am a Christian. I work at Severstal, which is a steel company and work on a tower crane unloading ore. I have been doing this for 8 years and prior to that served in the United States Army. I am working on adopting a 4-year old girl that lives in the refugee camp.
